Poetic. Haunting.
It's too fresh for me to review properly. That is why I write so few reviews: because I can't think clearly so soon after finishing a book (or a film, etc), yet if I wait, everyday life creeps in and makes me forget. Going back to it is suddenly too much effort just for a review.
The imagery is gorgeous and terrifying.
This book made me think about many things, not just life and death and faith and wartime and humanity, but seeing and judging and being true to myself and writing and a cracked globe.
