É 1 da manhã. Óbvio que me vou arrepender amanhã mas wow.
Eu amei o livro desde o início mas posso concordar que, como praticamente todas as fantasias, começa um pouco devagar. No entanto, a partir dos 50% não larguei mais!
Os plot twists, os esquemas ... 10/10
E eu sei que dizem que este livro não tem romance mas permitam-me que discorde... É um sub-plot, sem dúvida, mas é um muiiiito bom enemies to lovers/ bully romance.
É tipo um 4.5 porque só começou a ficar 5✨ a partir de metade.

I loved the plot. This story is good, but I personally didn't connect with some parts. But overall a solid book. Just the fact that cardan is pretty much a bully bothers me to a very high degree. But the politics was very intriguing so there are high chances I'm probably going to continue this story.

An easy YA read within the Faerie realm. It was the first book I’ve read where the young characters are actually portrayed as their ages.

There was a lot of predictability in the storyline, with some parts for me falling a little flat, but that could have just been me expecting more from the story. That being said some chapters still made for an interesting read, so I’m interested in reading book two to see how the story does end up developing.

Jude I hope we’ll continue to see develop. Not currently getting the hype with Cardan, Taryn’s a spoilt little girl, and Locke was predictable.

Jude and her two sisters are stolen away to live in the treacherous High Court of Faerie after witnessing her parents being slaughtered. Ten years later, Jude and her twin Taryn want nothing more than to belong here, despite being despised by many of the fey for their human morality. Especially my Prince Cardan and three other Gentry children. As the story progresses Jude gets wrapped up in the elaborate politics of the High Court and will need to risk her life in a dangerous alliance to save her loved ones, and Faerie itself.
