My thanks goes to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group – Frances Lincoln Children's Books for an ARC. All opinions are my own; I'm voluntarily leaving a review.

Genre: Science and History, Creative Non-Fiction
Age: Picture book (5-8 year olds)

I LOVE the lift the flaps in CAT FAMILY AT THE MUSEUM. The mice are going to keep your kids on the hunt for more. And the illustrations by Eunyoung Seo are charming!

This is a darling book that covers a myriad of subjects. Everything from dinosaurs to outer space! It's thoroughly engaging.

I think this would be especially fun to read before a trip to a museum.

I highly recommend this book!

Happy (catting around at the museum) reading!

Lucy Brownridge's "Cat Family at the Museum" is real treat for young children and their families who want to instil a love of museums. The story (beautifully and remarkably illustrated by Eunyoung Seo) goes through each room in the museum so that young children can see every aspect of that room's subject matter. They can flip up pieces of the book to reveal treasures of that particularly room: fashion, dinosaurs, rockets, etc. It's definitely a book I would give to children to inspire them to find subjects that they want to learn more about. It's a book I would give as a gift to young children to make them want to learn and to see museums as sites of creativity and pleasure.

Delightful. Super detailed illustrations of a large family of cats visiting the Museum of natural history. From prehistory to outer space, there are plenty of rooms and themes to showcase everyone's favorite. On top of all the beautiful art, each page has secret hidden interactive doors that we can open to uncover more artifacts and fun extras.
Thank you, publisher and NetGalley for this eARC.
