This was a cute story. It was hard to put down. It had great characters and a great storyline. There were a few editing mistakes that were a bit distracting.

content: clean - innuendo

Well that was cute!!! I LOVED nick! What an awesome guy! Didn't seem like a rich guy at all. I do wish we could have heard more of their banter and getting to know each other. But so good.

cindy of erlauf recommended this book to me when she heard i was a fan of arranged/fake marriage tropes!

i was a little unsure when i heard the premise, but it was outlined really well! it didn't feel creepy or like one of those "sell your soul" kind of billionaire bride stories. the couple was really cute, and i appreciated that they were both in emotionally healthy places-neither one was "damaged" or trying to "fix" the other. when they had trouble or disagreements, it was handled in a mature way. a nice change! : D also, the nerd in me loooooved the five love languages being included! (i'm a words of affirmation/physical touch girl myself ; D)

i also really enjoyed the Great Chocolate Brownie War, haha.

my only thing is i wish it were longer? the ending seemed really ubrupt, and i wanted more details on their lives and things!

I wanted something brainless to rest my mind after a long week. This hit the spot. It might have been a little too trite but I like the general premise of a modern mail order bride. I feel like there was a lot more room for growth and depth than the author had. But it wasn’t bad.

This was a fun story - a modern-day twist on the mail-order bride/arranged marriage idea. It was a little hard to believe how quickly they fell in love with how little time they spent with each other initially, but I love a good happy-ever-after story!

I was not expecting to like this book so much. I do like a light, fun, romantic and cheesy novel, but I tend to find them empty and an easy way to pass time without having to think too much. This book was not empty or cliché at all. It is well-written, sweet, romantic but not mushy. I got through it in less than two days so I definitely recommend it as a quick, fun, light reading. I’m starting the second book on this series tonight ❤️

Meh.

It was fine. I liked that the heroine was an academic and liked to bake, but beyond that, I felt like there wasn't much that made the characters unique (especially the poor hero whose name I don't even remember).

On the plus side, for those of you who aren't into sex, this one is fade to black and even that is in the epilogue.
