I wanted to get into this story, but I spent most of it confused about what was going on. I felt like the main character, Charlie Allison throughout reading the book, overwhelmed & unprepared for the adventure we were about to take. Advanced human life forms? Giving off a substance called cackle, sort of like spreading pollen or pixie dust? Being able to jump into people's memories, which are more like real-life replays? A regurgitating God?

I didn't dislike the book and I was able to read it pretty smoothly, I just felt it needed to slow down a little, almost if the story was rushed through to get to the next point of interest. Another reader may love the fast pace of this book, but it just wasn't what I needed.
