3.5* Scot Harvath is back and this time, he finds himself abducted by Russians. The transport plane he's in crashed in the middle of nowhere in frigid temperature. He now has to find a way to survive and get out of Russia. He also wants revenge.
I like this book. You can feel anxious along with Scot on how he's to survive. We see him struggling physically while also emotionally wrecked. There's a lot of violence. Scot is out for blood. The squeamish need not read this. But, it's well-written and enjoyable like the previous Brad Thor novels.

That was fun. I usually don't read a book "series" and actually didn't know when I started this one. If I had known it was #19, I would have never started it, but am glad I did. It works on its own, but has me interested enough to find the first in this series and will give it a try later on this year. Scott Harvath is like an American James Bond. Not much this guy can't do and much like the Fox show "24" this is fast paced with current international issues.

A rather lazy effort by Thor. Guess he's running out of story ideas.

Still decent, but too much 'escaping'.
