An easy reading, if not particularly groundbreaking, end-of-the-world sci-fi. The highlight of this story is definitely the twist at the end of issue one. The rest of the volume was good, although nothing that will blow your socks off. And I found the ending very rushed and disappointing.

I liked the art, it was simple and a little stylised but not in a way that was distracting or made the story difficult to follow. And there were a couple of areas where the colouring was used to good effect.

I enjoy a book that pits two ideals against each other, and shows that they're both rotten, but that some of the people invested in their ideas are worth saving.

The main premise of this story is how society crumbles when there is a word-destroying threat, and how they can try to rebuild when the threat doesn't take place.

There isn't a lot of room for character evolution in this story, and the dialogue reads like an average sci-fi TV script, but if you're looking for a good, self-contained sci-fi morality play, thhis book is solid.

I recommend it for fans of dystopian sci-fi, and people who enjoy relatively three-dimensional characters having to live with the consequences of their mistakes.

Very interesting take on the post-apocalyptic story. Art style very pleasing and the narrative was strong, however it was a tad bit rushed. Would love more from this universe.
