A new favorite of mine! I loved this book from start to finish. Amazing world building. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. I can’t believe I’m just now reading this, such a thought provoking concept.

Just a heads up this book is pretty existential but if that’s something you’re okay with I highly recommend this. This book is so thought provoking and really helped me come to terms with some of my own personal struggles with existential dread. I can’t wait to read the next one.

Wait this was unexectedly so good! I couldn't stop listening to it! 
The pace was really nice and the idea is amazing and I think well executed (let's ignore the question of how we have evolved to the point of immortality and have an all-knowing thunderhead but are not capable of limiting population growth in a better way than randomly allowing people to go on a killing spree and that they have no exterior supervision). Looking forward to the next book!

Also for all german speakers: the audiobook was amazing! So well narrated!
