Spooky and haunting and gorgeous. LOVED Easton and all of the Gallacia lore!!!! Immediately borrowed the second one and am starting it now.

This book is a retelling of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Fall of the House of Usher, which I haven’t read. Not having that background, I still found this a quick and compelling read that had a creepy and macabre vibe to it.
