Did not expect the book to be even more creepy unsettling than the movie, but the writing style + ILLUSTRATIONS OH MY GOD THE BOOK HAS ILLUSTRATIONS THIS IS SO COOL made me feel like i’m 12 again and reading creepy-pastas before bed, it was amazing
