A game of thrones
This is the story of a land where summers can last decades and winters a lifetime, trouble is brewing. House Tyrell join hand with Lannister, and House Arryn betray Robb stark for breaking vow of marriage with daughter but came back with Tully lord to save the day and north to be suppressed by Lannister.
And as opposing forces manoeuver for the final showdown, an army of barbaric wildlings arrives from the outermost limits of civilization, accompanied by a horde of mythical Others—a supernatural army of the living dead whose animated corpses are unstoppable. As the future of the land hangs in the balance, no one will rest until the Seven Kingdoms have exploded in a veritable storm of swords. Arya stark is finding her way and so is Bran and Rickon stark. While Robb died and Catelyn died in Arryn, and Greyjoy last heir is counting his days. From the icy north, where Others threaten the Wall, apprentice Maester Samwell Tarly brings a mysterious babe in arms to the Citadel, they stand against wildlings and Stannis Baratheon came to air of Jon snow and wildlings want to be behind walls for safety against White walkers.
Daenerys Targaryen is now ruling the part she won and people came to her for the problems and she help them . But seeing her as a character she is getting bit arrogant and from soft spoken girl to fearless queen she is getting promoted to another level. Robb stark also faced his first defeat through illusion and cunning

Author as lost his way. Shock style writing and cliff hangers at the end of almost every chapter. The language and absurd sexual exploits and incest are not to my liking. The lack of professionalism and dedication are the icing on this garbage cake. I don't care about any of the characters any more, and have no intention of finishing the series - I don't think Martin does either. I guess the TV series fans will get their way and HBO will do the job that Martin isn't capable of.

stopped after i read game of thrones, the first of the four books. i remember it being good! i just didn't feel compelled enough to read the remainder of the series.
