I never thought when I finished book 1 that I would be happy about anything involving Grey, and yet here I am. Found family is going to get me every time and I'm so glad everyone found that while also fixing their metaphysical problems! The found family pay off alone was well worth the time. Fixing everything almost felt like a bonus. I felt so proud of everyone and their character arcs because they came so far! Though how we made it 1900+ pages and I never got a clear backstory for Vargo, but I got one for Grey feels a little nasty to me. The politics were politicking, but I wished the romance was a little more present. Not a ton, just enough to prove to Iascat that Vargo will be able to love him the way he wants him to eventually. It's important to ME. The ending took 150 pages and yet it felt rushed. How they managed that, I have no idea, but it did. Between that, and Letilia's 300 pages of content, I had to rate it down a bit, but everything else was great! I'm glad my mans got a happy ending!!

With medallions of Primordial power to destroy and far too many identities to juggle, Ren is having a rough time. But she's got a plan in the works to at least get to marry the man she loves without having to hide said marriage. Unfortunately, an unwelcome visitor from across the sea will complicate things further.

Brilliant ending to a delightful trilogy! Don't want to write more for fear of accidental spoilers, but let's just say I'll be rereading this series more than once <3 Highly recommended!

I AM VERY SAD to rate this fabulous last installment lower than the previous ones. In all fairness, it is a 4.5 stars for me, but it had to show different than its predecesors...
Why? aaaa I don't want to write this, because it will make it real.

But well, okay.
Sprinting through this book is NOT a good idea. Because there are so many things happening at such a fast pace, that everything gets a little muddled, a little mixed, and loses importance. Some of the huge events of the book end up lasting no more than a few pages, and that left me with a bittersweet feeling. I actually started enjoying it more when I was forced to slow down due to *circumstances*.
Also, damn, I LOVED Grey and Ren relationship's development along the two first books, but in this one, not having that secrecy, than tension, and not that many interactions... something was lost.

These couple of things are basically what brought the rating down.
The rest, I still love.
I LOVE VARGO. Vargo was the best thing in this book, Vargo's "knots", and development.... A BIG YES FOR ME, old man.
The story had a satisfying ending, even if the last "twist" could have had... a bit more drama, for my personal taste xD.

Overall still a very entertaining read, and when I come back to it, maybe I can make peace with those things that were a little bit lacking. We'll see.
