I do like Emily Henry's style of writing. That she mixes more than just the romance in to her stories. Having said that, the supporting characters didn't feel as fleshed out as I would have liked since so much of the story was about the friendship dynamics and how they change as we get older. And the miscommunication trope was leaned on WAY too heavily. This book would have done better if it had spent less time on that trope and more time developing the supporting characters.  That being said it was still a good easy read.

I wasn't fully hooked on the story but it was an easy light read and there were parts in the book that really got to my heart
