3.75⭐️ for steel king! i decided to try and tackle devney perry’s backlist this year and this first novel in the clifton forge series did not disappoint!

we get insta attraction but also a little enemies to lovers which had me hooked. also… if you like sons of anarchy then you will definitely enjoy this series.

there is accidental pregnancy in this book which normally i don’t love but it was done well in my opinion. can’t wait to read about the rest of the gang from clifton forge🤭

I loved that book. I think having read the other books in the series (2, 3, 5, 6) before this one made me appreciate this book more. All the little details made more sense.

they were just going at it so fast and it was kind of cringy ngl. but i see why it was recommended as a series featuring found family.
ps. i'm going into second book because i have to solve the murder mystery aspect.

I really enjoyed this book, it started a little slow but once I got into the story I couldn’t put it down. The mystery aspect of the story was really well done, it kept me guessing. I was disappointed that it wasn’t resolved in this book so hopefully the remaining questions are answered in book 2. I liked the romance between Dash and Bryce but the murder mystery plot was the real driver of this story. Looking forward to continuing this series!
