Being an adult watching a kid bully another kid, knowing there's no repercussions for the bully, is a difficult place to be. The bus driver finds himself in this place when the mayor's son torments a kid without any consequences. So he decides to figure out a way that won't backlash on him but will make sure the bully keeps his hands to himself.

This is a short, swift revenge story that shows the goodness and evil in people, young and old. It shows off how a mother's love can be used as a weapon while another's parents love can be used as a destructive shield.

It was an interesting read and shows off Duncan's ability to delve into the everyday lives of people and explore the dark corners. I would recommend checking it out if you're looking for a quick read.

Mr. McAllister is a bus driver who has had it with a bully that rides his bus. Normally he does everything by the book but after he sees what happened to Dennie it was game on.

I was curious to watch McAllister’s plans unfold. He had to be careful because the bully happens to be the mayor’s son. The ending wasn’t quite what I was expecting but this was still an interesting story of revenge.
