I really liked this book. I read it in one day and it was just what I needed. It’s not super action packed, but more of a slow journey with two characters who have lost people. I love these characters and the easy flow of the story.

Claire Kent is a new to me author. I enjoyed the writing style very much. The book reminded me a bit of „the walking dead“ (but without the zombies) which is a great thing. I couldn’t put it down - read it in one sitting. Great adult distopian romance.

Fun, simple story. It was an enjoyable read. I found it refreshing that the MMC wasn’t physically perfect + cocky, etc, like 90% of MMC’s. He’s a regular guy, but he’s loyal and dependable, which is exactly what the FMC needed.

3.5 stars - As a fan of post-apocalyptic dystopian fiction, this book was a must-read for me. It features one of my favorite tropes—an age gap romance. However, I must caution that if you're seeking a heavy emphasis on the post-apocalyptic setting, you may be disappointed. The focus is primarily on the relationship between the main characters, with a considerable amount of explicit content. Despite this, I found myself thoroughly engrossed in the story from the very beginning and ultimately enjoyed the reading experience.

I liked this one, but I normally rate books on how they made me feel rather than how good the text is, and how I felt was rather neutral, so yeah.
I like the Layne and Travis’ relationship, I like the situation their in, the steamy parts were good, but could’ve been a little more emotionally interesting, but I enjoyed myself overall! Again, I have adhd, so just the fact that I finished this in a timely manner without getting bored means something in it’s favor!
