I already know how it will end. But, I couldn't sleep and always wondered how they would try to keep the peace between their clans.

I hate Leafstar. I don’t understand how she could be people’s favorite character when she’s so annoying and stubborn. And I think the exact same thing about Tigerstar.
Dovewing being stuck in the nursery in Shadowclan feels so out of character but well I hate her so.
Shadowkit was weird but I guess it was a good way to introduce TBC.

4.5 stars

This book didn’t hold high hopes for me since although a massive fans of the series, and I have loved a vision of shadows, I felt like they had reached the potential for the series and that their wasn’t much more they could include. What I really wanted to see was how dovewing was settling in in shadowclan and I saw a bit but possibly not as much as I had hoped.

Alderheart is such a lovely character though, seeing him develop from the goofy, shy little apprentice into the passionate and caring medicine cat he is gives me goosebumps!

And although I felt the plot focussed a bit too much on the main characters (alderheart, violetshine and twigbranch) it was good to see them all progressing as characters and it made me love violetshine even more and get even more frustrated and annoyed with twigbranch 😂 I guess things don’t change. But I felt immensely proud of young alderheart! In my ideal book I always prefer to see some of the background characters. For example Lionblaze and dovewing who were such prominent characters in the past few series I don’t feel ready to let go of them yet and still want to see interactions between them.

Overall a great read (as they all are) I finished it in a day and now I’m upset that I don’t have any new warrior cat books for a while 😂 and honestly the main thing I want to see happen for the next series is simply harrybrook and bellaleaf become mates😅 I have shipped them for so long now! But I cannot wait for the next series but just hope it would be more consistent then a vision of shadows. While I would say 2 books in this series were amazing (shattered sky and river of fire) and the rest were just great books, I want the next series to consistently be amazing!

This book does not deserve the hate like its generally really good. So the thing I liked about this book is all the little minor conflicts like Twigbranch and Finleaps relationship and Twigbranchs apprentice. And of course Dovewing. I also think gatherings have actually became interesting again like you don’t just say the prey is running well they’re actually accusing other clans and trying to solve problems. And there’s honestly nothing more entertaining then a whole load of cats arguing about something that is literally completely unneeded. Also Leafstar was completely correct.

Puddle shine and the battles were great and I just don’t think that this series deserves the hate, it’s probably my favourite warriors series

After a decade, I'm finished with the Warriors series. I can't begin to describe how infuriating this arc is, but this franchise has been on the decline since Dawn of the Clans. So many older cats are behaving out of character, and the newer additions are boring af. I'm tired of ShadowClan being villians, and the lack of repercussions for breaking the Warrior Code is outrageous in Vision of Shadows.

I can't do it anymore, guys. I'm done.

Now THAT is how you end a series ! this was such a well timed book . After reading the pack divided book I was starting to wonder if I was putting too much love on Erin`s books . So this one set me straight . It had everything ; a good story, love, character growth and drama . I was captivated throughout this entire book . The way that you had real sympathy for the villain , even after all that he did was so well written ! such a great read! This is a series that I see myself reading again and again .

A fabulous conclusion! 8/10
