"Edge" is definitely the key word in the title - if you are looking for full on erotica, you won't find it here. Since a lot of other reviews seem to have been disappointed by that, I figured I'd get it out of the way first.
The one thing these stories have in common is they all involve sex and/or romance. Beyond that, each story is a world unto itself. And there are some very interesting worlds here. Some stories are part of larger series, others are originals.
Like all anthologies, the stories were a range. All of them were at least enjoyable, and many were quite good. I've re-read the collection several times since I first bought it, several of the stories continue to be enjoyable on the second, third or fourth reading.
Overall a good read that I'd recommend to fans of paranormal romance and adult fantasy.

This collection has several writers in it I have read before so I decided to give it a whirl. For the most part the stories don't seem to be from previous universes of the various writers. The Huff story was my favorite and I have to admit I liked the afterwords by the writers as to why they chose that story and give info if there is more in that setting. The down side is I seemed to be spoiled by some other thematically centric short story collections so this was a bit more of father afield in theme sense but a interesting read all the same.
