After the first few chapters I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this memoir at all, but was pleasantly surprised! The author is incredibly witty and has a vibrant writing style. Her reflections on her life, friendship, and love give voice to the chaotic times leading up to your 30s in such a relatable and yet unique way.

Wow did I love this book. I felt so very connected to the author because a lot of what she talked about feeling, I have also experienced. It felt like I was seeing a reflection of my inner thoughts and emotions on paper. I have not read any of her other works but I will definitely be checking some of her stuff out. I feel like the last two chapters went on a little long, but other than that, I loved it.

Not totally sure how Dolly Alderton has managed to go from making a long (and stressful) string of bafflingly bad decisions to giving some genuinely wise and unexpected life advice all in one short memoir but I love her for it.
