After I read the blurb, I knew I had to read a story with a bookworm and a chicken farmer.
I really enjoyed that one of the heroes is older. We need more 40 year olds in the stories that we read. I could identify so much with him when it comes to health anxiety and it really resonated with me.
It reinforces that we need to grab on to all of the experiences that we can and enjoy them. I could feel the instant chemistry between Finn and Harrison. They make stumbles along the way but are so perfectly matched. There were some really steamy scenes too. The family members in the story were fun too, especially Harrison's mom. Overall, this is a story that is low on angst but big on heart and life lessons.

So cute and sweet (and steamy at the right moments), such a lovely story and easy to love characters.

I did not connect with the characters. I started this book when it hit the market and took several breaks in between the start and finish. I ended up skipping ahead a bit just so it didn’t end up on my DNF list. I will always support this imprint, no matter if the book is something I connect with or not. It’s okay when a story just isn’t for you, this will be someone else’s 5 star!!

I really enjoyed this book, always love seeing older characters and the exploration of some important themes too. Such as fear/anxiety from Harrison over death and Finn's focus on work, worries no one will be able accept its importance in his life.
These two made for a fantastic pair, they just had a lovely balance and understanding of each other. While they have some conflict late in the story, they communicate well throughout as both rather honest about who they're and their feelings from start. I appreciated that so much!
A beautiful romance developing as they spend time together and realize they have more in common. The working together on farm and bookstore, first kisses and all of the comfort with displays of their affection. Just so many soft, fluffy feels and I adored their relationship as they realized falling in love.
Stunning side cast too from their family members, who bring lots of fun and entertaining moments. Especially loved Audrey, Harrison's mother she made me smile with her matchmaking and friend's with everyone.
Finn acknowledging his focus on work and Harrison with his anxiety, both start to see they could be missing the best parts of life.
Overall a fun, adorable and easy read! With lots of happy feels and hurt/comfort, as they grow as individuals alongside the relationship. Learn how to make it work as pair towards a bright future together and a wonderful happy ever after
