Meh. It was okay. I'm not a mega-fan of anyone involved in this; my expectations were low, but I was not disappointed.

Some great poems in this collection, and excellent narration by Richard Armitage as always, but I think they ordered the poems wrong. most of the "good stuff" was right at the beginning, which didn't leave many high points later on. So 3.5 stars from me.
That is of course personal preference, and if you prefer different poems to me you may find it better balanced. I'm tempted to try to figure out if it's possible to separate and "shuffle" the poems, to see if that works better for me, lol.

Richard Armitage needs to read ALL THE AUDIOBOOKS. I can't get my toes to uncurl...

Audible gave a free gift of Richard Armitage reading classic love poems. If you're on Audible, go get it right now. It's beautiful poetry read by a man who could make reading the dictionary sound sexy and romantic!!!

I am not a poetry reader. I really only picked this up on audible for a reading challenge, and...well, I'm just going to say it. Listening to Richard Armitage reading the poems made it far more enjoyable for me! :)
