This was cute. I loved the meddling small town aspect and the relationships Nova and Ronan had with each other and with the students/football players at the school. I didn’t feel like the fake dating aspect was utilized as much as it could have been and there were a lot of side events happening that didn’t get fleshed out.

Enjoyable yet somewhat predictable romance. While I love many of the tropes: fake dating, forced proximity, small town, (sort of) second chance - the story sometimes gets bogged down with so much else that it feels like the romance aspect gets pushed aside. Having grown up in a smaller Texas town, I definitely identified with the football obsession and the personalities of many of the residents.

Ronan and Nova have a lot of fun interaction and definitely a few sexy scenes - but they never quite solidified for me as much as I had hoped given the length. A funny and comfortable light romance.

Narration:
I enjoyed Savannah Peachwood & Sebastian York’s performances. Peachwood did a great job with all the Southern accents/drawl.

It was okay.

I loved the hair crisis scenes, it was very fun and very high school. The characters were quite flat, I wish they were more fleshed out. I did love the birthday bushes idea.

This was a perfectly fine, middle-of-the-road, average romance.

Beauty and the Baller - story of Nova and Ronan

OMG this book was rom com gold! I laughed so hard in so many of the scenes (and got teary I some too). I listened to some of this book on audible and the narrators had me in stitches.

Loved reading the relationship journey of Nova and Ronan.

Highly recommend reading this. And I just say Tuck (sec character) has a book coming out in a Nov 22.

This story is full of fun and comedy gold.
Small town Texas, aggressive women on the husband hunt and meddling matchmakers have never been so entertaining!
Ronan and Nova are extremely lovable characters with a connection on many levels.
Their banter is so amusing, their intellectual connection is great and they have strong emotional moments together that really touched my heart.
Then, there’s their spicy hot chemistry.
They are a smoke show together!
I love the fun nature of their flirting and the intensity of their sexual encounters.

The humor is so sharp and witty. The snark, one-liners and jokes are absolutely hilarious.
The comical and zany situations the characters get into are so cleverly done.
I was so entertained by this immensely enjoyable story and the amazing cast of quirky characters.

Tragedy is what brings Nova and Ronan to small town living in Texas. The emotions they are dealing with are relatable and they make the characters so sympathetic.
I love the way the author creates such amazingly vivid characters. I felt so invested in the main and in secondary characters lives. I love them!
The secondary characters are a big part of the story and the author manages to breath so much life into them that they enhance the story so much and yet they don’t steal anything from the main characters story and time.
Even a cat has a memorable personality and added funny moments to scenes. It’s such a unique style of writing that I absolutely adore.
An awesome story with so many hilarious scenes.

There is plenty of heart and thought provoking aspects to the story. There’s really beautiful sentiments and moments that pulled at my heartstrings.
It’s such a feel good RomCom with just enough heart wrenching moments to make it full and balanced.
It’s a new favorite, I absolutely loved it!
I think it’s one I’ll read again, the characters are so entertaining and witty.
