The audiobook was a fantastic way to read this, I loved all the voices and enthusiastic portrayals of obnoxious high schoolers XD
And if you’re wondering how long the annoying behavior goes on, it’s
for about 85% of the book.
But, ugh, if the beautiful self-discoveries and flawless conclusion isn’t worth it in the end.

I found it hard to root for the main couple just because they were both kinda awful people, and I really didn’t like Chloe as the lead character (but that may be due to the audiobook).

But I really liked how McQuiston wrote the friendships and developed the characters.

Not too bad for a YA romance, and not too bad for my first Casey McQuiston novel.

This is my third Casey McQuinston novel, and I lover every second of it! Although this is their first YA novel, all of the staples which make this author such a fan favorite (strong friend groups, humor, joy) are all there, maybe even more so than ever!
There are a few plot holes, but it was such a fun read overall, and I would highly, highly recommend!
I think that the relationship between Smith and Rory was so well done as well! They were my favorites:)

This was a little dry but once I got into it I was swept into the mystery of Shara and those around her. I also thought Chloe was a bit self centered but I really loved her friends and her moms and I thought it was all really sweet. I also like that everyone got their happy ending (for now at least)
