Another dystopian novel I read during my dystopia kick. This one got silly. That's all I have to say.

Folk's criticism of this one is accurate, but it's still a satisfying book that's hard to put down. Real gd shame about the rape part.

Competently written, but unclear whether or not Levine had a point, or was just writing a dystopia for the sake of itself. Also, the protagonist rapes someone and it’s just kind of brushed past. Wack.

As much as I enjoyed this I couldn’t give it a four. The rape scene was completely unnecessary and Chip was a selfish brute.

Not quite as good as his other books. Didn't hold up as well over time. Awkwardly dated.

Feels really Orwellian and delivers exactly that. Levin doesn’t disappoint, but I was hoping for something as haunting as Rosemary’s Baby
