Just a few things that got on my nerves but overall a good read

I really liked it, but it ended in a cliffhanger. After going to the author's page, I understood, this was just part one. Three stars because I wish ended another way. If you don't mind feeling incomplete after a read and had enough bucks to buy the next part, I recommend this story. If not, be prepared to feel a bit disappointed.

I was expecting this to be a standalone, since I bought it as part of a box set. I wasn't expecting it to be this short and to end in a cliffhanger.

Mairi, the female protagonist, is a quirky character; she has this strange idea of catching herself a Greek billionaire. I honestly do not know what to think of her. I find her both endearing, but at the same time very frustrating.

Damen, the Greek billionaire extraordinaire, is predictably stoic and doesn't believe in love, but finds himself drawn to Mairi. He is a frustrating character and I just wanted to hit him in the head for his stubborness.

I think the storyline is pretty cliche and typical Marian Tee style - innocent girl falls for rich, powerful man. You also have your dose of steam. It's a fun read, if you don't mind the monotonous theme. I still want to know what will happen to Mairi and Damen, or I should say what other trials and tribulations they will encounter towards their HEA, so I will continue on with the series.

The writing in this story wasn't bad but I just didn't enjoy the plot itself very much. It was much too short and insta-lovey. I won't be continuing with this series.
