The miscommunication went on too long for me to really enjoy this book. I did like that the FMC was an engineer turned writer, though I cringed at some of her life choices. And though I sympathized with Lukas’s injury impacting his life, he spent a lot of time wallowing.

I just adored this book! Lucas Martín is a total babe and swoon worthy. I loved Rosie I could relate to the pressure she put on herself to have everything together all the time. I thought the relationship and dynamic between Rosie and Lucas was so sweet, this book was so heartwarming it felt like a hug! Let me tell you this slow burn was truly a slow simmer (the bangxiety y’all!) until it immediately became boiling hot. I absolutely recommend this book to everyone, run don’t walk!
