I really enjoyed this read, and had a hard time putting it down! The setting was so cozy, as were the characters—especially Benny. But I found 3rd act conflict to be weird, and I wished the loop would’ve come to a more satisfactory ending. I just feel like it wasn’t wrapped up as well as I wanted, nor was the conflict with Theo.

cute and funny...a little strange and it kinda lost me at the scavenger hunt but I'm not picky about my Christmas reads. 5 stars from me ✌️

Disappointing! The time-travel/Groundhog Day theme usually isn't my thing but I do think it worked well here. But there were too many extra characters, a lot of detail that didn't contribute anything, and I felt ultimately like a lot of what I read didn't matter. It was sweet and the characters were fairly fleshed out for what essentially takes place over a few days.
I absolutely hated the ending!! They spent such a long time having a one-day fight immediately after confessing their feelings and starting their relationship, made grand gestures to each other, and then got engaged six months later. I'm very good at suspending reality, but holy shit

4.5/5 ⭐️ , and I made it into a staff pick (briefly over Christmas)!

Genre: Romance

Trope: Old friends, to lovers... and a time loop!

What I Loved: Most of it! The setting of the cabin in the mountains at Christmas. The time loop. The food descriptions. The comedy.

What I Wanted More Of: MORE TIME LOOP (I’m being greedy, I know).

I read this one as a buddy read with my pals Maddi, Lauren & Kris , and I think I’m the one who loved it the most out of the group.
