Let’s face it not an enjoyable book to read, but an important glimpse into the life of someone living in poverty.

I’m mostly glad to have this lived experience out there in the world to share. I didn’t always 100% trust the narrator, but that’s to be expected. She’s also got some privilege she doesn’t really own up to.

Not the book I thought it would be. It was more about the houses she cleaned and what she assumed about the owners than there was about poverty in America.
