You know I'm sure that this is a gorgeous, profound book for some people but I just could NOT get past the constant racist language. Wasn't a huge fan of the weird sexualized woman-only superpowers (magic light shooting out of her vagina hello???) or the fetishization of virginity or the constant sexual assault... you get the idea. It's just not fun to read.
