Enjoyable, easy read with fun southern feel.

3.5 :) cute, fun story. And the movie on Netflix is cute and fun too.

Enjoyed this book but I don't know if I plan on continuing with the series.

I found Ave Maria to be unlikeable so I really didn't care what happened to her. This is the first book in the series and they do improve as you go along.

This was a slow moving, quiet book that took me awhile to get invested in. By the end, I was enjoying it, but the first 40% was a bit painful. Once I came to appreciate the characters it was way more entertaining.

An easy read. Story is fine. Feels a bit like a harlequin romance tho.

The characters made this book. Fun quirky read. As the book opened I wasn't sure how to take it because the author just jumps right in. The ending took a little longer to wrap up than I thought was needed. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the middle.

Pleasantly surprised by this book. The name sounded a bit hokey and didn't really inspire me to read the book, but I found a cheap copy at a thrift store and picked it up anyway. 'What the hey.' I thought, 'I can always bookcross it!'

Imagine my surprise when I was completely enthralled with this book. It was not your cookie cutter plot. There were so many twists and turns that I never knew what was coming next. The characters were sympathetic and nothing was completely ridiculous. I could see something like this happening in real life.

I don't really want to say much about the story, because it's just too good to spoil with any hints. It's about life in a small town near Appalachia. It's about family and love. It's about friendship and learning more about yourself.

Just do yourself a favor. Give it a shot.

This book somewhat similar to the one I just finished for Book Club. I found this one lacking both in style and substance.... poorly written, amateurish concept. This book too, felt as though it was a young adult concept, as opposed to what I most love to read, literary fiction. This was not literary fiction. I don't have ESP, but I might as well have, as I could tell what was coming a mile away .... I would have quit early on, were it not for Book Club read. Don't bother with this one.
