It wasn't bad. It just wasn't my kind of book. I loved some of the characters, especially Iva Lou, Fleeta, and Pearl. but I didn't like Ave Maria all that much.
LOVED this book. Cant wait to read the rest of the series...
An Appalachian version of Our Town. While the plots differ, it has that small town voice of the narrator in Our Town. Fun read, but the transitions between scenes are brutal.
I'm not the ideal reader for this book, so it seems a bit unfair for me to review it. There's some believable dialogue, cute characters and a memorable setting. I just get a little bored with the formulaic nature of a romance novel.
