A little repetitive, might’ve been great for people who are new to kpop but as someone who’s in the fandom, nothing was interesting enough to catch my attention. And a quick glance of the rest of the kpop idols mentioned i didn’t really care enough to listen about them.

Interesting history of K-Pop plus memoir from debut author Giaae Kwon. As others, like @bookedinsaigon, have mentioned, there are pieces that are repetitive at times, which can happen with personal essays. The darker side of the K-Pop machine may be new to some folks and is akin to the US boy band / girl group industrial complex of the late 90's and early 00's, but with more plastic surgery.
If you want a more light and fictional perspective on K-Pop, I recommend Maurene Goo's YA novel I BELIEVE IN A THING CALLED LOVE.

I think every Kpop fan, current or former, should read this memoir at some point. Be sure to be in a good headspace as there are many triggering/sensitive topics.
