Could’ve been an easy five stars, but I just didn’t like the ending

Damn it definitely lives up to its name. Another hell of a mystery written with so many twists I had to keep going back to reread to make sure of why at any given time I though I knew who the killer was. Won’t give any spoiler on the ending other than I hope everyone who reads it says wow.

This wasn’t as good as Thirteen, but this was still a good time. As the title implies, there were lots of twists, especially near the end, so much so that they got kind of implausible in a way that felt kind of meta (similar to Taylor Adams’ The Last Word).  Other than that, I don’t know how much of this I’ll remember in a month.

It took me longer to finish than expected because the print is SO small. I typically stray away from books with small print but honestly I am glad I kept reading. I gave it four stars because at some points the story was drug out without any intriguing details to hold my interest, but I will say, the twists and the ending made it worth the read.
