debraserrins's review against another edition
3.0
This book wasn't bad with the qualifier, for a lesbian romance novel. For about the first 120 pages, I could find no one likable in the story at all. The protagonist and assumed love interest are pretty unlikable for a long time and the protagonist's bosses are horrible. Only her cousin is mildly appealing.
It got better after a while and became a reasonably enjoyable read. My biggest issue was the way the author jumped from one pov to another. Here I am reading the protagnists motions and feelings and suddenly another character walks out of the room and I'm reading that character's feelings.

started 2-28-21 or 3-1-21, read 45 pages, skimmed the rest. Not interesting to me.
Moderate: Sexual assault and Sexual content
I didn't finish reading it, but the narrator's boss sexually harasses her and has done the entire time they've worked together. Romance-typical sex scenes are throughout.
