A fun little read, if a bit unbelievable at times.

Brief Summary:
Graham hates tourists and only deals with them because they cannot get the hint that he doesn't want them in his establishment. However, his grumpy and surly attitude is part of the draw and more and more come each year. He knows that they are only temporary visitors and wants nothing to do with them, until Zoey walks into his place.

Zoey has dreamed of visiting Alaska forever and finally gets the chance to do so. Excited that she is finally where she has always dreamed to be, she is disappointed when almost all her experiences start taking a turn. However, the only saving grace is the diner owner Graham and his sexy smile.

However, as Zoey's vacation comes to an end, both find it hard to leave the other and wonder if their hearts will come out of this unscathed.

Review:
I thought the story was cute. Zoey and Graham were interesting to watch interact and the other characters didn't take away from the story too much either.

My favorite character was Easton and I hoped that the next book in the series would be about him. Although he was only in a few scenes, I found that I wanted to know more about him and read more about him going forward. He interested me and I liked that about him.

I did have to add that I found a few things unrealistic in this story. The fact that every single one of Zoey's vacation experiences ended in disaster was hard to take. I can believe that maybe one or two would be messed up, but every single one having a problem just didn't sit real with me. Maybe I've been lucky that my vacation experiences were not as dramatic as all that, but it seemed that anytime she had some sort of experience going on that it was going to end badly, even the one she did on a whim ended with her running into Graham and kicking him in a not so nice place.

I also found it hard to believe that Lana, Zoey's best friend, would be able to keep such a large plan for the small town on the downlow without anyone spilling the beans. This seems like a large undertaking and it would be obvious that something more was going on and someone would have caught on for sure at some point.

Overall, I enjoyed the read and even laughed a couple times. Even with the unrealistic parts and Graham being slightly annoying at times, it was still a fun read and I plan to read the next book soon.

Plugging my ears and covering my eyes to any and all valid constructive reviews because I really enjoyed this book and it got me out of the reading slump that's clung onto me since last Christmas. Graham was cute. Zoey was cuter. Jake was the cutest of them all.

Also this is my official petition to add a specific "Alaskan Romance" genre to Goodreads because I love them like Ulysses loves bread. That's all.

I’m so over books where men are attracted so sweet, book-reading girls who are in actual fact, 1 dimensional, uninteresting non-characters. What a tired trope. There is nothing interesting or special about Zoe’s character & very little information is provided about her family, skills, background, or life experience. So long as a woman is compliant and cute, we don’t need to look any further right? And how she so quickly trusts a man who is such a ridiculous flirt, I really dont know. Trite. Predictable. Boring.
