Entertaining Distraction

Every book in these Trident Security series is fantastic. Original and amazing characters, Samantha A Cole knows how to pique my interest and keep it the entire time. This book is a little different, as we have a female Domme and male sub! Charlotte is not looking for a new submissive, but when she meets Mike, her mind is changed. Mike is not interested in the lifestyle, but when Charlotte aka Mistress China approaches him, his heart tells him to give it a try. A 30 day contract to see how things go with the option of renewal. And we are off! Spicy, fun, exciting and a little suspense all kept me intrigued. I loved Mike and his evolution. He had no idea what he was in for, but leave it to a good woman to know. Charlotte is extremely complex, and I loved us getting to see all of her layers. With cameos from some of our favorites, the story gives us that feeling of coming back to old friends. It's a great addition to this spin off series.
Narrated by the talented team of Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St Claire, the story comes alive. St Claire is fantastic as Mistress China. I love her assertive, commanding voice as she falls into domme mode. She can easily switch to a more vulnerable side of her creating a woman with many sides. Qualen creates Mike perfectly. Unsure of himself, with what his thinks may affect his masculinity, Qualen gives us nuances that let us hear his unsure feelings as his progresses into the sub he is...and trust me, he never loses that alpha feel even in sub mode! These two are amazing and I love listening to their narrations.

Amazing
This is my first Domme story. I loved reading about how Charlotte taught Michael about his submissive nature. Its hot, sexy, sweet and action packed all at the same time. You can never go wrong with this authors books.

Back to the Trident Security Compound! Why did I stop reading this series?? It's SO spicy and every book has such a great plot. Loved seeing more of Mistress China and learning more about her character. Her and Mike together was just wow! The balance between them and their personalities was so good and I loved seeing their relationship develop. Will definitely be reading the rest of the books in the Trident world asap. If you're looking for a spicy and suspenseful series, this is it!

A strong female character, Charlotte wowed me! Her story sparked something in my brain, I connected with her instantly. Charlotte is a Domme and her journey with Michael was handled beautifully, especially Mike’s doubts about being a male submissive. It wouldn’t be a Samantha Cole book without a thrilling storyline and the side story slotted in perfectly. A big thumbs up from me!
