These kinda really started to lose the plot for me and this one sealed the deal. I really enjoyed the first 3 and at least 4 continued to investigate the ideas Herbert explores in the first 3 while still maintaining a meaningful connection to the original material. But man by this one I was really left wondering what the point was, was the “Golden Path” still at play, did any of the previous books even matter? Well, I read all 6 so at least I now know what’s up.

Most enjoyed time spent in Miles Teg and Duncan Idaho's minds, attempting to learn a Mentat view.
Serious cliffhanger and unresolved questions at the end.

And here the real craziness is manifested. Crazy sex ninja women who can destroy the other, less crazy sex ninja women? Not to mention everything else that makes it nuts. Worth reading just for the madness. And, of course, Frank Herbert is a fantastic author.
