Excellent sequel! Strong characters and I love the inclusion of LGBTQ+ characters. Rust and Cole are so cute together! Quinn reminds me so much of Sidney Prescott—she’s such a bad @$$. Hope we get a third installment!

Well this is frustrating. I absolutely adored the first book. I really loved every single aspect about it but this sequel just didn't do the same. It was convoluted and while having multiple pov for kills was fun in the first one there were too many pov's that just made it confusing for this book. The kills felt forgettable and I wasn't cheering on the characters like I had in the first. Sequels to horror movies tend to not be as good as the first as well so maybe I should have assumed this might happen but I had so much hope with how much I loved that first book. I want to reread that first book with this one back to back and see how that might effect how I enjoy the sequel. Sadly disappointed.

I’ve been on the search for a good old slasher book, and I kept finding ones that insisted on having a paranormal/supernatural spin unexpectedly thrown in, so when I stumbled upon Clown in a Cornfield on Libby, I was drawn in by the cover. I loved it and was so happy to find out this sequel was already released!

I loved the authors pointed ideas on conspiracy theorists and how social media and echo chambers can cause mass hysteria.

I do think this could have been a solid end as a duology but obviously I am also impatiently awaiting the third installment in the fall.
