This was a standard “playboy gets the virgin” romance. So that’s a little cringey, but this was free and I really enjoyed Amy Daws’s other books, so I’ll read it.  It starts out kind of awesome because Indie is this kick ass surgeon-in-training (think Grey’s Anatomy, romance and rule breaking). But then it gets antifeminist because (and you can guess the spoiler)

she completely tanks her career because Cam’s feelings were hurt. Why do women with big important careers have to give them up just because they *like* a man??

I will read the next in the series because it’s unlikely to find this trope twice in one series.
