On a technical level, this book is very good. However, I was not in a headspace to read it with the love it deserves, because of triggering topics contained within the book itself. Also, I still don't really get why Tristan was murdering birds. It's not so much the book's fault as it is my own fault. I had no idea going in that the book was going to be about... the things it was about, nor that I would be triggered.
