women written by men who dont view women as people (mainly the catwoman parts) (those sucked the most also the random racism was just gross)

I liked it, but the New 52 (42?) always leaves me kinda distant.

The new Joker (faceless) maintains his insanity. But Batman . . . maybe I am outgrowing him.

Lots of characters I feel the need to catch up on.

This was awesome. All the collected Death of the Family comics together. With the focus on Joker. Amazing!

For my full review of the return of the Joker story see my review of the main storyline in Batman: Death of the family

This volume of tie-ins is fantastic. Some of the other New 52 tie-in collections don't really add much to the story, but this one does and it's essential if you're going to get the full Death of the Family experience, which I highly recommend.

I’ve read before parts from Death of the Family and it’s honestly one of the craziest stories of Joker. It’s great but more than a little disturbing.
