not sure yet about the rating; have to think about it for a bit.
I have to say though that I didn’t love the way Tamlin blames Feyre for the bite on her neck and also didn’t love the way that Rhysand drugged her and then made her dance for her (in front of everyone). I guess he told her that it was to make Tamlin furious but still. Maybe talk to her about it first? She probably would have done it anyway if that meant to save “her high lord”
I was thinking the whole time about how Sarah J. Maas will work her way through that so that Rhys and Feyre end up together. Yes Feyre did end up with a lot of trauma from the trials and will also (be forced to) spend time with Rhys and talk to him eventually. He’ll probably help her with it and it will end up in an enemies-to-lovers trope (as far as the spoilers I have seen are accurate). And eventhough I enjoyed that trope in other books I am not sure how SJM will convince me to root for them. She wasn’t even able to make me root for Tamlin and Feyre because the whole time I couldn’t get Belle and The Beast out of my head. I guess you’ll understand when you read the book.
Anyways.. still got through it quite quickly and somehow couldn’t put it down because I kind of knew what was going to happen and wanted to know how everything will lead up to it..

This book really got me back into reading. Loved the thought that went into the plot line. The end had me picking up the next book immediately. No notes.
