**Resume: A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas**
**Title:** A Court of Thorns and Roses
**Author:** Sarah J. Maas [a:Sarah J. Maas|3433047|Sarah J. Maas|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1582137198p2/3433047.jpg]
**Rating:** ⭐⭐⭐⭐
**Review:**
"A Court of Thorns and Roses" by Sarah J. Maas is a captivating fantasy novel that weaves a complex and magical world filled with enchanting characters and intricate plotlines. The story, set in a richly imagined faerie realm, follows Feyre Archeron, a young huntress, as she navigates a world divided between humans and faeries.
The narrative unfolds at a deliberate pace, with the initial chapters setting the stage for the broader conflicts and introducing readers to the diverse cast of characters. The book's strength lies in its meticulous character development, as each figure comes to life with their own unique traits, motivations, and secrets. The intricate relationships and alliances contribute to the depth of the story, making it essential to invest time in understanding the characters' backgrounds and intricacies.
While the pacing may be considered slow by some readers, it is a deliberate choice that serves the purpose of establishing a solid foundation for the overarching narrative. The gradual build-up pays off as the story progresses, leading to intense and gripping moments that wouldn't have the same impact without the careful groundwork laid in the earlier chapters.
Maas's writing style is vivid and immersive, allowing readers to vividly picture the lush landscapes and magical elements of the faerie world. The author skillfully combines elements of romance, adventure, and political intrigue, creating a narrative that appeals to a wide range of readers.
The novel's four-star rating is a reflection of its overall excellence, with the deduction attributed to the initial slow pacing. However, this should not deter readers, as the investment in understanding the characters is crucial to fully appreciate the unfolding events and the depth of the relationships that drive the story forward.
In conclusion, "A Court of Thorns and Roses" is a compelling fantasy novel that rewards patience with a richly layered narrative, complex characters, and a world that seamlessly blends magic and reality. For those willing to invest the time in getting to know the characters, the payoff is a deeply satisfying and immersive reading experience.

This was a fun read! I loved the descriptions of types of faeries and fae biomes. Having a narrator that is obsessed with color made for some beautiful descriptions.
I think this book would’ve been more my speed at a younger age, particularly the middle section which takes on many hallmarks of well-written fanfiction.
Still, it was cool to see the blending of so many inspiring fairytales (e.g. Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Tamlin, etc.). And it’s always fun when the climax is partially filled with deadly challenges and rhyming riddles!
One major downside bringing so much of this book down: ITS AN ABUSE STORY!!! DOMESTIC VIOLENCE GIRLIE!!

Okay I'm re-posting my review . Cause everyone deserves a laugh . I had written this review almost a year ago and it now makes me cringe .
So . This is my first review . I've been quite busy for the past , maybe, 10 years of my life . What with school and the vigilante thing . But yeah , finally .
First things first . This is a quick read . It can be a little drag at times . But , come on , we all love 'The Walking Dead ' . I was drawn into Feyre's magical world from the first page . A world filled with faeries , humans, and my favorite: 'wicked creatures'.
Secondly , Maas is really a fantastic writer . One of my friends , had been trying to convince me to buy one of her other books . I was skeptical at first . Don't blame me,I've had worse experiences with previous books . But this one was totally worth it . Maas's flawed characters and world building is brilliant. And Amarantha is a really cool villain.
Thirdly , I liked this book because this is the first classic retelling I've ever read . Surely , this has made a path for the others to join too .
I hope there aren't many spoilers in this review . You should buy this one .
Well , other than reading books , watching movies , and playing video games I like to listen songs .
This is my playlist for this book :-
1-Stressed Out -Twenty One Pilots (makes sense)
2-Look What You Made Me Do-Taylor Swift(do I really need to tell )
3-Hymn For The Weekend - Coldplay(I just like this song)
