3.5 - I loved many parts of this book: the characters, the dreamy setting of the yarn shop, reality of the challenges in characters’ lives, knitting metaphors, but it was slow in the telling of the story, and was lacking in some of the dialog?
Very enjoyable read though!

I decided to read this book based on the title because I do like knitting.
I think the book kind of had one plot line at the beginning and switched at the end. The beginning was about grief and the end was a romance. I just thought all the elements of the story were an odd mix together. I also thought the ending was rushed. The romance did not seem as fleshed out as I would like it to have been as well as the personalities of the characters. I just think the story could have used another 50 or so pages and it would have been really great.

This was cute. It was kinda riddled with plot holes and I wish that the first 5 chapters had been... just one chapter... but it was cute! The main characters go from shockingly (nauseatingly) chaste to the point of prudish to kinda spicy for the last 50 pages, which was also a tiny bit jarring. Basically, this book could have used a good editor to kinda do some story development. Still, it was a one-night, easy read for me.

I was looking forward to this book but this is mess.
First of there is no romance, this is not slow burn they barely have time when they are alone, it's more about family and community.

Now on to characters: Kerry "not like other girls" that is her personality. Jesse I liked family aspect but it was not enough because he is same like Kerry when it comes to other women.

Nothing work for me.
