Midnight Star by Ophelia Bell
Book 4 Nova Aurora series
Midnight Star Astra is a arena champion that after her brother Talon died after a shifter he was against poison him and eventually died of his wounds she became a Aurora Champion.
Astra’s last match her opponent tries to cheat by using same poison.
Now Astra can’t talk to her dragon and isn’t healing properly.
Javin is doctor for the Aurora Champion League and Astras mate but neither want to commit to each other and feel something is missing.
Javin also looks after a disgrace Champion Simon that was talked into using the Poison and now can’t talk to his hyena and is having a really dysfunctional relationshipwith Javin.
Javin contacts Gerri to try and get Astra a mate to restore her connection to her dragon.
Gerri is also contacted by Val Carver a panther that after a damaging news article about him possibly dating his very close male friend sent his dad in a rage.
I absolutely loved this book because with Astra not been able to talk to her dragon she wasn’t happy about mating and even when she finally confessed to Javin her feelings she still didn’t feel like it was right.
I love how Ophelia Bell can write a RH with three very distinctive male characters that all have different traits.
The together scenes with all the mates are incredibly hot and very very saucy.
If you like multiple partners or RH I would definitely recommend reading Ophelia Bell first series Sleeping Dragons.

I was captivated from the very beginning. It is intense with great action, tension, and chemistry. It has some great twist and turns. I like that this is a different fated mates romance as 3 out of the 4 mates are resistant to mating. This is one exciting read.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an unbiased, honest review.
