When Biff discovered the truth about his father.
In my opinion, it wasn't the deed itself, that Biff found his father cheating on his mother, that mattered; it was the shock. What he had just witnessed had startled and traumatized him. He not only adored his father, but he also idolized him! Willy was his idol, and when you idolize someone, you always expect good things from them; you never consider that they are only human, and you can't imagine them making errors, flopping, or falling apart. You build up an entire picture in your mind for them, and that moment when that picture meets up with reality!... It shattered. You'll be lost, confused, sad, and angered! All your emotions will float around inside you at the same time, and right this moment, you'll be finally broken. But the worst part is, that you have no choice but to accept it. Because, sadly, you can't undo it.

There is a reason that this play is so well known. Definitely adding this to my list of plays to watch live.
