This book has my whole entire heart. As someone who’s endured the struggles and triumphs of depression, anxiety and PTSD for over 10 years now, this book shot me back in time and reminded me how entirely strong I am for enduring. The character development, the inspirational moments and conversations between oneself, friends, family, and lover were all so well done. I will forever have a special place in my heart for this book, and for Nesta Archeron. <3

I like that this book is transitioning the focus to other characters I am hoping the next book will allow us to meet Elain tbh she is still very vague.  Nesta was severely traumatized by the war and possibly even before that throughout their childhood. We begin to see her more as the person her mother created her to be and see how her behavior has to do with unresolved issues within herself. I really enjoyed that she did a great deal of healing by befriending other survivors and learning how to fight for themselves.

I don't see a big issue with Feyre's pregnancy bc her story is basically at their happily ever after. I guess with another war still looming having a child is not ideal to play a larger role but she is not the focus anymore.
Like let them have their happily ever after. Why is it on her and Rhys to save Prythian every time? Maybe other books will include other high lords stepping up.

The spicy scenes were great - and, not gonna lie, that's the entire reason I read this book bc I didn't like ACOTAR that much. I have some qualms with a lot of the rest of the story. The Valkyries were an unexpected and welcomed surprise.

After ACOFAS, I was anxious for Nesta to have her healing journey and it did not disappoint! Nesta’s story was incredibly inspiring and I was cheering for her the whole way through. As for the book as a whole, the writing felt a little more unbalanced than previous books in the ACOTAR series. The political storyline with Briallyn and the Trove didn’t blend as seamlessly with Nesta’s healing journey as the quest for the Book of Breathings did with Feyre’s in ACOMAF. I loved the book and I love the series, but there were moments where I was taken out of the story because I was trying to figure out how the pieces fit together. Despite this feeling of unbalance, it did come together by the end and it was totally  worth it! Most importantly, I loved getting to know Gwyn and Emerie and I hope to see a lot more of them in future stories!!
