Oh, how I have missed the Dares.

Dare Me Tonight by Carly Phillips brought together two families that are so much alike - it’ scary. Ethan Knight was just supposed to show Sienna Dare around New York for the weekend not sleep with her. But when Sienna returns to Miami thinking what she had with Ethan was just a One-Night stand turned out to be more. Next thing we know Ethan is making a visit to Mami to check on a project that he is working on with Ian Dare to find out something he never knew he wanted – a baby!

This book was the perfect mesh of two families in Carly’s world that we have fallen in love with – it was great getting updates on all the Dares and plus seeing a Knight enter act with them. We get great moments with the three Knight Brothers, that reminds us why we love them.

Like every book Carly writes – you can’t stop reading till the last page. Highly recommend reading the Dares and Knights books.

Dare Me Tonight is one of my favorite books of the Dare series by Carly Phillips and Ethan is my favorite of the Knight brothers.

Sienna is a driven girl. After all she's been through her strength and drive is admirable. Ethan has had his world turned upside down by his deceased wife. He wears his pain every minute of the day.

When Ethan and Sienna meet their chemistry is undeniable. A virgin until a night with Ethan, she now is pregnant. The Dare family are such a great family. I would love to join. Their support for each other is unwavering and fierce. I especially love Ian Dare's reaction and protection of Sienna.

This book is the perfect blend of the Dare and Knight clans. If you haven't read one or other series, you will get an introduction to them all. The love will pull you in but relationships will make you stay for more.

The grumpiest Knight Brother gets his girl
5 stars

I’ve recently been on a bit of a [a:Carly Phillips|10000|Carly Phillips|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1539819877p2/10000.jpg] binge and based on this book, I will continue to be on one for a while yet. This is the fourth book in Knight Brothers series (after [b:Take Me Again|41946914|Take Me Again (The Knight Brothers, #1)|Carly Phillips|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1537386632l/41946914._SY75_.jpg|65441365], [b:Take the Bride|42650406|Take the Bride (Knight Brothers, #1.5)|Carly Phillips|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1541551204l/42650406._SY75_.jpg|66392499] and [b:Take Me Down|43312310|Take Me Down (The Knight Brothers, #2)|Carly Phillips|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1555000583l/43312310._SY75_.jpg|67216303]). It’s also a crossover with the Dare to Love series as Sienna is a Dare sibling. There are a few characters from past novels that appear in this book (most prominently Sebastian Knight, Ian Dare and Emily and Parker Knight) but having only read two of the previous Knight Brothers books and none of the Dare to Love series, I can confidently say this book stands completely alone. But be prepared to want to read every. single. other book in both series’. This is going to be expensive!

You’d be forgiven for thinking that this book had lots of built-in, ready-to-go drama what with the slight age difference (just 7 years), the illicitness of their attraction and relationship, the surprise pregnancy and the back story of both Sienna and Ethan. And yet, it’s wonderfully angst free. There’s no ridiculous drama or soap-opera shenanigans which is so refreshing.

I do so love a grumpy hero - especially if he’s arrogant and used to getting his own way like Ethan is. Oh, and he has a bit of a past which makes him wary of women and attraction in general. The perfect set-up to be taken down a peg or two by a woman.

Sienna is the perfect woman for that task - especially since she’s not who we would necessarily expect to be up to the task. And that makes her even more perfect. She challenges Ethan and doesn’t let him get away with his nonsense, all the while letting him be his naturally grumpy self. This is not a tale of a woman changing a man - but of the man realising he can be himself around a woman which makes him more at ease.

Gah - I just loved this couple. As well as their interesting and layered personalitites, we have their ‘oh-my-God’ sizzling chemistry. Sigh. When Ethan came to find Sienna at her apartment, I flat-out nearly fainted on the floor. Butterflies in the tummy kinda stuff right there.

What I think I like best about [a:Carly Phillips|10000|Carly Phillips|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1539819877p2/10000.jpg] books is the effortless writing that sucks you into that story until it’s where you want to live. I feel like I can read the story and suddenly the characters are in love. I wonder, much like the characters, when and how that happened, only to think back and see it playing out with every word I’ve read. It’s such a talent and part of the reason that I find myself returning to read Ms Phillips when I need to escape from the world for a while.

If you’ve not read anything else by [a:Carly Phillips|10000|Carly Phillips|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1539819877p2/10000.jpg], this is a good one to start with - but it will only be the start. This is a fun read with interesting characters and a sizzling chemistry - the perfect book to get lost in for a couple of hours. 5 stars.

Dare Me Tonight is a steamy romance that'll make you believe in second chances. After Sienna gives a cherished piece of herself to Ethan, you find yourself hoping for the impossible to happen between the two. With each book in this series, I'm always left counting down to the next release! I love the Dare family!!

I was dared (ha!) to read this book, since it features the worst trope I can think of: VIRGIN HEROINE GETS PREGNANT.

Before you proceed, be advised that this review reflects my current state of mind: pissed.

Sienna Dare hasn’t got a clue what to do with her life but her family is loaded, so: it’s chill. Her half-brother thinks she should continue her studies and join a management program in NYC, and therefore he asks his partner Ethan Knight to escort Sienna to a black-tie corporate event to convince her to join the program. Sienna’s brother will soon regret his stupid idea.

Because, of course, Ethan and Sienna meet, sparks fly, they have sex many times in the short span of a weekend, and one of those times doesn’t feature a condom. Fast forward four weeks and, what do you know, Sienna is preggers! And forced to work with Ethan while trying to figure out „this parenting thing“.

Apart from the absolutely predictable plot, the pacing felt off for me - sometimes rushed, sometimes slow. Also, there were a lot of inconsistency mistakes and holes in the plot that signal the lack of a good editor and/or a proofreader. And since that’s my job, such things piss me off even more. So, yeah, not my cuppa.

I forgot, in my rage, to point out that this is part of a series of five (dear Lord, five!) books, so maybe reading the other books would be helpful - or maybe not, who can say. I am a tiiiiiiiiny but curious about one of the brothers (Jason) but ehhhhh….not enough.

In conclusion, ifyou still want to read this book, even after this dreadful review, my advice for you is: pair it with lots of wine.

This is book 3 in The Knight Brothers series and it features Sienna Dare and Ethan Knight. As a personal favor to Ian Dare, Ethan was supposed to be Sienna’s tour guide for a visit to Manhattan. A mutual attraction turns into more than either of them bargained for. Ethan’s been in such a downward spiral this past year but one look at this beautiful woman and his world starts to look brighter. Sienna sees Ethan and imagines all the amazing ways to lose her “V” card. How will her overprotective siblings react to her and Ethan’s situation?

I love seeing characters from previous books! I felt so bad for Sienna when she found out everyone was keeping secrets from her. I was also shocked at the secret they were keeping. Although I probably shouldn’t have been. As always, fantastic story line! I can’t wait for more.

I've been waiting for Ethan to finally get his story and his Happily Ever After. And I loved that it was with Sienna.

Out of all of the characters, Ethan is the one I have felt the most sorry for. The things in his past (I'm not going to be detailed in case you are reading this as a standalone) make him a little reluctant to open himself up to love and life. Understandably.

I liked this connection. It's not really the focus of the story, the romance was...but, for me, this shared understanding of how fragile life can be, and somewhat opposite responses to it, made the connection feel real to me.

Who better to remind him of what life has to offer than someone who knows how precious it can be, and how easily it can be lost?

I enjoyed watching these characters Cone together, fall in love, and figure out how much they each meant to one another.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

Cute ending to the trilogy.
Ethan is the most jaded brother, so I was happy to see him fall for someone and start being happy again. Sienna is a great girl and deserves someone to treat her well. I love that she stands up for herself and won't accept being with Ethan if it has to be a secret, especially after the situation with her parents. This started off with a bang, jumping right into the steamy romance. The plot moved quickly and they have great chemistry together.
The epilogue was great and I like seeing the Knight siblings in their happy ever afters.

In Dare Me Tonight we have two series from Carly Phillips collide. Ethan Knight, oldest sibling from the Knight Brothers series meets Sienna Dare, youngest of all the siblings from the Dare series. I'm just going to tell everyone now this book was the book I've been waiting for forever, and Ms. Phillips absolutely blew me away with this story.

My heart absolutely broke for Ethan when he discovered his wife Mandy not only had a drug problem, but was stealing from his company and cheating on him. Even a year later he isn't the man his siblings have always come to rely on and he is pretty much only existing for work. When Ian Dare, contacts Ethan to have him chaperon his youngest half-sister while she is in New York City, he really isn't excited about the prospect, yet as soon as he meets Sienna, he feels attraction to someone for the first time since his wife died.

Sienna Dare is the youngest of all the Dare siblings, and her childhood illness was the reason Robert Dare had to let his wife and legitimate children know about his second family. Sienna has just finished college and is trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life. The opportunity to go to New York to check out a prestigious graduate school program comes just as her half-brother Ian is working with Ethan Knight, and Ian sets it up for Ethan to be her escort while in New York.

I absolutely loved Sienna and Ethan together. Their chemistry was scorching hot from the first moment they laid eyes on each other. Ethan had pretty much been a shell of a man since the truth came out about his wife. However, he starts to have feelings again pretty much from the moment he sees Sienna at the graduate school mixer. Yes I loved how strong the attraction was between Ethan and Sienna, but Sienna as the baby of the family didn't really seem like anyone listened to her thoughts, and Ethan seemed to not only listen to her thoughts and dreams, but support them from the beginning. OMG I loved that Sienna was the one to proposition Ethan, and she knew her mind and heart from the very beginning.

I'm just going to say it; I really love a good secret baby story, and loved it even more with Dare Me Tonight. Sienna really wanted to be the one to talk to Ethan, but per the norm in the Dare family, Ian pretty much looses it when he finds out Ethan got his baby sister pregnant. Sienna showed such strength not only standing up to Ian, but Ethan as well. She didn't roll over and let either man control her life. I absolutely loved that while Sienna didn't know exactly what she wanted to do for her career, the moment she found out she was pregnant, she knew that was the most important thing in her life and I felt like it made her even stronger than she was already.

Ethan definitely wasn't the picture perfect hero in this story. He had so much baggage from his first wife, he stuck his foot in his mouth so much with Sienna, I honestly was surprised she forgave him a few times. He had his flaws for sure, but I loved seeing him come back to the land of the living and get his head on straight not only for Sienna and their baby, but for himself as well. I loved how protective he was of Sienna and how he had not problem stepping up when she needed him to do so.

Robert Dare has been my least favorite character from the moment we first met him. He honestly is my favorite character to hate from the Dare series. He is a selfish bastard and destroyed both sides of his family when the truth came out about his affair. He once again shows his true colors in Dare Me Tonight and it absolutely broke my heart for Sienna and her siblings, but I loved she became so much more empathetic for her half-siblings now that she understood what they had been through all those years ago. I absolutely wanted to fist-bump Sienna when she confronted her father and then give her a big hug.

Dare Me Tonight is such an amazing story! I got to spend time with two of my favorite series in one and I loved getting to visit with all the Dares and Knights as Ethan and Sienna found their happily ever after. Buy this book and make sure you have free time, as you will want to devour it as soon as you have it in your hands!
