ugh this one was so boring and the treasure hunt was severely juvenile but the end was ok.

Chapters 020-029
Favorite Case:
Museum Owner Murder Case

**Warning: I loved noticing some differences between the anime and manga. I know changes were inevitable with anime adaptations, but I just want to mention it. Those mentions would probably appear in most, if not all, of my Detective Conan reviews**

Museum Owner Murder Case was one of the few cases where Kogoro wasn't in his usual 'Sleeping Kogoro' state when solving the case, though it was still Conan who's leading him to the truth by dropping innocent clues. Among the three cases, this is what I liked the most since it was one of the 'framing other suspect' case where Conan should prove that the number one current suspect was not really the culprit. It was obvious how inconvenient it was to solve crimes in his child state but I always find it so cute to see how he sometimes used that opportunity in his advantage to solve the cases.

The Bullet-Train Bombing case involved the Black Organization. Again, Conan used the advantage of being a child to find who's holding the briefcase with a bomb inside. But that also held him back from saving the whole train from exploding since no one believed a child. But because of his quick-thinking, he was still able to dispose the bomb before it exploded. **The case was consisted of a few changes compared to the anime episode. In the anime, Gin and Vodka weren't really the men in black in the episode. They were just some random men in black clothes that Conan thought were with the Black Organization. As I also remember, Ayumi, Genta and Mitsuhiko were also in the anime episode, but in manga, they didn't appear. But the case itself, it was the same.**

The Code Sheet Case with the Detective Boys was kind of a child-friendly case that fits perfectly for them. Though it still involved dangerous thieves, it was not as 'bloody' as the other cases. Here, Conan used a lot of his brain cells just to crack the secret code leading to the 'treasure'. Even he took a few trial and error to find it. And I loved his reaction when he finally solved it. That laugh uggh! **There was also a scene where I remember that wasn't in the anime episode of this but I have seen in one of the Detective Conan movie. That was the cola scene between Ran and Shinichi. I remember it because I just finished watching the Captured in Her Eyes movie where the scene appeared, but in the different location and situation.**

Un tome moyen avec une première enquête beaucoup trop simple, mais la dernière enquête était adorable !

Ini niatnya klo dibikin komik gk panjang gimana ya. Soalnya petunjuk tentang BO secepet itu sih. Dari 1-5 aja udah banyak gini soal BO-nya walaupun menurutku kurang greget sih. Wkwk

Di volume ini, technically ada 3 kasus ya, tapi ada satu chapter kek fillernya gitu, wkwk. Karena dah nnton animenya juga jadi kek kurang menegangkan juga sih.

that was a fairly meh volume sadly. the first case was fairly good even though it was fairly simple and more or less gave away the killer in the first ten minutes. the second case was rushed and it would have been nice to have had another chapter so more clues could have been brought in. also showed the return of the main villains for a short period of time. also the third case was terrible. it featured the bane of the series the detective boys who not only didn't really contribute anything but essentially just got in conans way. also they made the case last for longer then was probably necessary.
a fairly meh volume with one good case, a case that was promising but to short and another that was just boring. will continue with series because from memory the cases get a lot better and the detective boys do not appear as regularly from a certain point onwards.

I really enjoyed the mixture of cases. Sometimes, Conan works with the adults, and sometimes, he is having fun investigating cases with his school friends.
