An obvious classic, honestly just felt the age of it. Very much felt like a book written in 1902. Characters were relatively flat, but the descriptions of Watson's inner monologs were beautifully written and really felt like they transported me the the moors of Cornwall.
It was fun, and I'm happy that I took the time between books of a series to check it out.

Really enjoyed the book, but would have loved more Sherlock as he was away for most of it! Never a bad Sherlock Holmes mystery!
